Text-to-speech apps are known for meters, traps, and price hikes. These are the promises we make instead. They apply on iPhone and Android.

   Listening is never metered

   The free plan has no hourly, daily, or monthly listening limit. The voices run on your phone, so an extra hour costs us nothing and costs you nothing.

2. 02

   No surprise charges

   Before a free trial starts, the app shows the date you will be charged and the price. Cancel before that date in your App Store or Google Play account and you pay nothing.

3. 03

   Your price doesn't go up while you stay subscribed

   If we raise prices for new subscribers, you keep the price you signed up at for as long as your subscription stays active.

   Features you have stay yours

   Something that is free when you start using Hearful won't later move behind Premium for you, and Premium features won't move to a more expensive plan.

5. 05

   Your reading stays on your phone

   No account. Speech is made on the device, and the articles and files you import are not uploaded to us.

6. 06

   We publish our refund rate

   Six months after launch, and every six months after that, we will post here the share of purchases that were refunded.
