What Hearful is
Hearful is a mobile app that converts text you choose — web articles, documents, pasted text — into speech on your device, for your personal, non-commercial listening. By using the app you agree to these terms.
Your content and conduct
You decide what Hearful reads. Content fetched from the web belongs to its authors and publishers and remains subject to their rights and terms. Hearful is for personal listening — you may not use it to redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit content you don't own, including audio files you export.
Hearful Premium
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription ($3.99/month or $29.99/year, plus applicable taxes; local prices may vary) purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. If prices change, you'll be notified as the stores require and can cancel before renewal.
The free plan
The free plan is supported by advertising and has feature limits (such as playback speed). We may adjust what is included in the free and Premium plans over time; we won't remove a paid entitlement's core value during a period you've already paid for.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the app: no attempting to circumvent purchase verification, no using the app to violate laws or third-party rights, and no interfering with the services it depends on.
Disclaimers
Hearful is provided "as is." Speech is generated automatically and may mispronounce or misread content; article extraction may be imperfect. We are not responsible for third-party content the app reads at your direction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. You can stop using Hearful at any time. We may suspend the service for abuse of these terms.
